First Congregational Church of Ramona has long partnered with Corazón—a mission organization that strengthens families, enables service, promotes self-sufficiency, and inspires mutually beneficial relationships across borders. Traditionally, at least once a year, FCC Ramona gathers a group of volunteers to go build a house with Corazón for a family in need. During recent years, we’ve served with Corazón in different ways. We’ve helped sponsor other church’s to build homes and we’ve provided donations for scholarships and school supplies for students. While we may not be able to build a house twice a year anymore (and who says we can’t in the future!?) we can still support this incredible mission in service to our brothers and sisters south of the border.
Our Corazón dinner auction is our largest fundraiser to support this ministry. All the proceeds go to Corazón and to support volunteers in helping free others from poverty.
Please consider supporting this mission by donating items for auction, by attending the dinner, and by bidding on and winning auction items!
If you would like to donate an item for live or silent auction, please contact our church office: office@fccramona.org
