Join Us for a Thought-Provoking Bible Study!
Are you curious about how the Bible addresses complex issues? Do you want to deepen your understanding of the New Testament and its relevance to our lives today? Join us for an enlightening Bible study led by the knowledgeable John Stevenson.
In the American South, Paul’s writings were often used to justify slavery, but were they right in using them that way? We will talk about the ancient near eastern practice of slavery and explore some of the passages in Paul’s writings in the New Testament that deal with that issue. We will discover together what Paul believed and what the New Testament really teaches about slavery. This will help us understand how to think biblically about other controvercial issues in our time.
📚 Dive into the New Testament context and discover:
✨ Paul's writings on slavery and their significance. ✨ How to interpret and apply these teachings in a modern context. ✨ Insights on ethical and moral considerations.
🗣️ Engage in Meaningful Discussions 🗣️
