Music and Sacred Arts
We offer our worshipers a variety of traditional and contemporary music on Sundays as we gather to worship God. All of our musical efforts are done with the aim of helping us to worship the One who created us, redeemed us, and loves us without end.
Chancel Choir: Our traditional choir is the Chancel Choir. This group provides time honored choral music, as well as contemporary music written in the traditional style.
Gospel Choir: The Gospel Choir provides gospel, contemporary, and jazz style anthems during the morning services periodically. We sing and clap and dance to the music as we worship the LORD.
Emmaus Road: This group performs Bluegrass style Gospel music with acoustical instruments such as bass, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele.
Minor Miracles: This is our choir for children ages 5 through 3rd grade. Many of our friends from the Congregational Children’s Center sing with us too. We present both contemporary and traditional music – sometimes even with the combined Adult Choirs.
Heaven Bound: This is our choir for children 4th through 6th grade. Children who come to the after-school program at the Congregational Children’s Center can sing in this choir as well.
Bell Choir: This fun group blesses the congregation with the enchanting sound of bells periodically throughout the year. We’re always looking for newbies, and learning to play isn’t as challenging as you might expect!
“You become like what you worship. When you gaze in awe, admiration, and wonder at something or someone, you begin to take on something of the character of the object of your worship.”
