A Joyful Collaboration

At First Congregational Church, we believe in the unity of the Church as the body of Christ. We are thrilled to witness an exciting partnership between two of our cherished extended family members here in Ramona: Ramona United Methodist Church (UMC) and Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church (ELCA). Both congregations embody the values of love, inclusivity, and a passionate dedication to the gospel of Jesus Christ that we hold dear.

Starting on July 28th, Spirit of Joy will begin sharing space and holding their worship gatherings on the grounds of RUMC. This collaboration is not just a practical solution to financial challenges; it's a beautiful testament to the strength of shared faith and the unity of churches within our community. By coming together in this way, Spirit of Joy will have the freedom to focus on their mission and outreach efforts, amplifying the good work they can do alongside Ramona UMC.

We at FCC embrace this opportunity to witness and support the growth of our extended family in faith. Let us join together in prayer and encouragement as Ramona United Methodist Church and Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church embark on this new journey.

May their combined efforts bring glory to your name and spread your love throughout our community. Guide them with wisdom and compassion as they embark on this journey together. Strengthen their bonds and help them to be a beacon of hope, inclusivity, and faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
