The New Little Library

We at First Congregational Church of Ramona are thrilled to announce the arrival of a brand-new Little Library on our church campus! This special take-one-leave-one library is dedicated exclusively to children's books, offering a place where young readers can discover new stories and share their favorites with others in the community.

Located right by the sidewalk on 8th Street—directly in front of our church and just across the street from Ramona Elementary School—this Little Library is in the perfect spot for children and families to stop by, browse, and participate in the joy of reading. Our very own Amanda Ellis did the artwork for the Library and we think it’s beautiful!

While we are honored to host this library, the true stewards of it are the dedicated educators of the Iota Rho chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Society for teachers. Their passion for literacy and education has made this project possible. A special thanks goes to Laura Franz, who spearheaded the installation and ensured that this wonderful resource would be available to our community’s children.

To celebrate the launch of this Little Library, there will be a short dedication ceremony on Tuesday, March 11th, at 10:00 AM. This will be a moment to recognize the efforts of all who made it happen and to officially open the library for use!

We hope this Little Library becomes a well-loved resource for young readers in Ramona. Whether you're dropping off a gently used book or picking up a new adventure, we invite everyone to take part in this wonderful opportunity to share the gift of reading.
