Welcome Doris Jones!

We are so excited to welcome Doris Jones as the newest member of our staff. On Monday, June 13th, Doris officially became the Office Administrator of First Congregational Church. She comes to us from an extensive career in healthcare administration spanning over three decades. She has special expertise for training, credentialing, confidential records management, computer technology, and much more. Doris has been a member of our Church since 2003 and periodically taught Sunday school in past years. She has two sons, Trevor and Tyler who are both members of our church. She is also a fine art painter, published poet/author, and children’s book writer/illustrator.

Over the past several weeks, members of our Staff and Pastoral Relations Board vetted and interviewed several applicants for the position. Of all of the qualified and talented applicants, Doris rose to the top with her professional demeanor, impressive resumé, and infectious personality. We could not be more excited as a board and as a staff to welcome Doris to our team.
